The Lebaivalu 7s team from Vanuaso in Gau will be looking to take back the Vanuaso 7s title back to their village.
Two other teams from Gau that will also be featuring in the Vanuaso 7s tournament are Katudrau and Gau Kacau Knights who were defeated by the Hideaway Hurricanes in the elimination round in last week’s Martintar 7s.
Tournament Organiser, Sivorosi Tora says majority of the players in all three teams are youths from the villages of Gau.
The Vanuaso 7s tournament will be held this Friday and Saturday at Ratu Cakobau Park.
The winner for the Men’s competition will get $10,000.
