Rugby fans around the world are preparing for one of the sport’s most iconic and historic rivalries, as the All Blacks will host the Springboks this Saturday at Eden Park.

Springboks Coach Rassie Erasmus says the challenge of facing New Zealand at Eden Park, where South Africa last beat the hosts in 1937 and the All Blacks not losing there since 1994 will make this match a nervy yet special week for both teams.

Both teams enter the clash with one win and one loss in this year’s Rugby Championship.

New Zealand currently holds the world number one ranking, overtaking South Africa after the opening round and the All Blacks will be determined to defend both their Eden Park record and top spot.

Meanwhile, the Springboks have climbed from third to second in the rankings following their win against Australia and they’ll be looking to not only snap their losing streak at Eden Park but also reclaim their position at world rugby.

The All Blacks will host the Springboks at 7.05pm this Saturday.
