Ba Football Association President Praneel Dayal says the association is aware of social media discussions surrounding former coach Ravinesh Kumar, but it does not engage in public speculation or comment on social media rumours.
This is after the Association announced the termination of Kumar's contract, effective immediately.
Dayal confirmed to fijivillage News that the association will not be making any further comments on the matter.
He says all internal matters handled by the Ba Football Association are addressed through its established procedures and guidelines.
Dayal says internal administrative processes and confidential personnel matters are handled by the executive leadership, and the association will not discuss internal operational details publicly.
The President says internal employment matters remain confidential to protect the privacy of all parties involved.
He says the association has addressed the matter internally and moved forward in its best interests.
Dayal says their focus remains strictly on managing the association responsibly and maintaining the standards expected by their community.
He says the Ba Football Association has a robust organisational structure and a clear technical pathway.
When asked who is being considered as the new coach, given that the team needs to prepare for the Champions vs Champions and OFC Champions League, Dayal says their preparations and standards for upcoming commitments remain fully intact.
He further says the Executive Committee is currently evaluating coaching options, and an official announcement regarding technical appointments will be made once the process is complete.
Dayal adds that, as stated in their release, the association's internal standards and organisational values are non-negotiable.
We have also reached out to Kumar for his response.
