Dayals Steel Ba FC have been crowned FMF IDC Super Premier Division champions after defeating Vantex Solutions Navua FC 2–0 in the final at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
Both teams created scoring opportunities in the first half, but neither side managed to find the back of the net, with the match locked at nil–all at half-time.
Ba broke the deadlock in the 80th minute through striker Nabil Begg, who capitalised on a goalkeeping error to put his side in front.
Navua pushed for an equaliser but struggled to break through Ba’s defence.
Ba then extended their lead after building an attack down the left flank, with Begg breaking through the Navua defence before being brought down inside the penalty box.
The referee pointed to the penalty spot, and Etonia Dogalau stepped up to convert in the 87th minute, giving Ba a 2–nil lead.
Tensions flared between players from both teams following the goal, prompting police to intervene and restore order.
The referee subsequently sent off one player from each side following the confrontation, leaving both teams with 10 men.
Navua continued to push forward in search of a goal, but Ba held firm until the final whistle to secure the title.
The victory marks a historic achievement for the Men in Black, who have now claimed all four major domestic football titles in Fiji in 2026.
Ba had already secured the Extra Premier League title and won the BiC Fiji FACT after defeating Navua 3–1 in a penalty shootout, ending a 16-year wait for the trophy.
They also lifted the Extra Battle of the Giants title after beating Rewa 2–1 in the final.
The FMF IDC triumph complete Ba’s remarkable clean sweep of the four major domestic competitions this season.
