Former Fiji netball coach Vilimaina Davu could play for the Silver Ferns again if she gets the green light from Netball New Zealand.
Davu has played for the Silver Ferns but turned out for Fiji at the last World Netball Championship which was hosted by New Zealand in 2007.
Davu was the first netballer to sign up with the Northern Mystics for this season after a successful application for New Zealand citizenship.
She was sworn in as a New Zealand citizen last month.
Meanwhile, the International Federation of Netball Association will meet tomorrow to decide whether Catherine Latu can play for the Silver Ferns.
New Zealand-born Latu is ineligible to represent the Silver Ferns and therefore regarded as an import in the Trans-Tasman league, as she represented Samoa at the 2007 World Championships and 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
