Kinoya resident raises concerns over leaking sewer chamber in compound

A Kinoya resident has raised concerns about a leaking main sewer chamber within his compound, claiming the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) has yet to take action several days after a complaint was lodged.

Speaking to fijivillage News, Kinoya resident Isaac Khan says the leakage is affecting his family's day-to-day life and raising serious health concerns for those living on the property.

Khan says he contacted WAF about the issue but no action has been taken.

He says the lack of immediate action has left residents dealing with the problem while waiting for repairs to be carried out.

Khan is calling on WAF to address the leakage as soon as possible, warning that the situation is affecting the health and well-being of those living in the compound.

WAF says they have acknowledged the matter, and it's wastewater operations team will look into the cause of the overflows.
