As the FIJI Water Flying Fijians prepare to take on Japan tomorrow, Head Coach Jake White says every player aspiring to represent Fiji must earn their place and work hard to wear the white jersey.
Speaking to the media from Japan, White says their game plan for Japan is simple and when a player gets the ball, they need know what to do and how their teammates will manoeuvre around them.
He says the clash against Japan tomorrow marks the starting point of the team's Rugby World Cup journey, with 343 days remaining until the tournament.
The coach says having lived in Japan and coached several teams there, he understands the Japanese style of rugby and believes his players are ready for battle this weekend.
