A fake school closure notice linked to Hantavirus precautionary measures circulating on social media has been declared false by the Ministry of Education.
The Ministry is also advising members of the public to refrain from sharing unverified information online.
It stresses that all official announcements are communicated only through verified government platforms and recognised media channels.
The Ministry has reiterated its call for the public to rely on official sources for accurate and timely updates regarding schools and education-related matters.
