The FIJI Water Flying Fijians are stepping up preparations in Japan ahead of this weekend's highly anticipated Anniversary Test against the Brave Blossoms.
The team was put through its paces at D-Rocks Rugby Club, focusing on sharpening team combinations, reinforcing game strategies and putting into practice the systems developed during last week's preparations in Nadi.
In an update this afternoon, Fiji Rugby says the message from camp is clear that every session counts and every detail matters as the players continue working towards being fully prepared for Saturday's clash.
They say the team completed two training sessions today and will have a well-earned rest day tomorrow.
It will be interesting to see how the team fares under Head Coach Jake White this weekend.
The Flying Fijians play Japan at 5.50pm Saturday at Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium in Tokyo.
