Winger Atelaite Buna will make her return for the McDonald's Fiji Drua Women when they take on the Brumbies in Round 3 of the Super Rugby Women competition at 4R Stadium, Govind Park in Ba on Saturday.
Head Coach Mike Legge has named the former Jasper Williams High School student on the right wing for the highly anticipated encounter, marking her return after representing the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side.
Originally from Kese in Yasawa, with maternal links to Narewa in Nadi, Buna returns with six tries already to her name for the Drua and will be eager to make an immediate impact.
The match-day squad also features the potential Drua debut of Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s captain Verenaisi Ditavutu, who joined the team this week.
Legge has also welcomed back several key players, with back-rower Sulita Waisega and centre Merewairita Neivosa returning from injury, while lock Mereoni Nakesa is back in the starting line-up.
Karalaini Naisewa, Keleni Marawa and Tiana Robanakadavu form the front row, while Nakesa partners Carletta Yee in the second row.
Nunia Daunimoala and Salaseini Railumu join Waisega in the loose forwards.
Kolora Lomani will captain the side from halfback and partners Varanisese Qoro in the halves.
Repeka Tove starts on the left wing, with Buna on the right, while Josivini Naihamu and Neivosa form the midfield pairing. Litiana Vueti completes the starting XV at fullback.
The Drua Women will be looking to build momentum when they host the Brumbies in front of a home crowd in Ba.
Fans attending the match will also be treated to two curtain-raiser fixtures, with Ba Women's Rugby facing Lautoka Women at 9.30am, followed by the Drua Junior Development team taking on the Ba Rugby Under-17 side at 11.30am.
The main match between the Drua Women and the Brumbies kicks off at 2pm on Saturday.
