The stage is set for the Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union Super Deans Championship national quarter-finals, with four teams from the Western Zone and two teams each from the Eastern and Southern Zones qualifying for the next stage.
The four Western Zone qualifiers are Ba Provincial Freebird Institute, Cuvu College, Ra High School and Ratu Navula College.
Representing the Eastern Zone are Ratu Kadavulevu School and Lelean Memorial School, while Suva Grammar School and Nasinu Secondary School qualified from the Southern Zone.
In the elimination round, Ba Provincial Freebird Institute drew 29-all with Queen Victoria School but progressed after being awarded the win for scoring the first try.
Lelean Memorial School defeated Marist Brothers High School 26-7, Ratu Kadavulevu School thumped Ratu Sukuna Memorial School 43-14, Cuvu College thrashed St John's College 55-7, Nasinu Secondary School edged Holy Cross College 21-20, Suva Grammar School beat Ratu Luke Secondary School 50-6, Ratu Navula College defeated Shiri Gurunanak Khalsa College 27-13, and Ra High School thumped Navatu Secondary School 41-8.
The national quarter-final fixtures will be released next week.
