Vacalea begin camp with one week to prepare for Labasa 7s

The Vacalea team from Kadavu will march into camp today, with just one week to prepare for the Fiji Bitter Labasa 7s.

Team manager,Jone Toga told fijivillage Sports that he will be focusing on three key areas with the players: discipline, defence, and kick-offs.

Toga says discipline is a major issue, especially during pressure moments, and it can lead to the team’s downfall if not addressed.

He says defence is another weak area that he plans to fix ahead of the tournament.

He adds that maintaining possession will be critical, and he will work on ensuring that the ball is secured at all times.

The Labasa 7s will take place from the 8th to the 10th of January at Subrail Park in Labasa.
