Manchester United secured a thrilling 3-2 win over Liverpool at Old Trafford to move up to fourth place in the Premier League.

United led 2-nil at half-time thanks to goals from Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko.

Liverpool fought back quickly after the break, with goals from Dominik Szoboszlai and Cody Gakpo to make it 2-all.

The winner came late when Kobbie Mainoo scored in the 77th minute.

Mainoo’s goal came just days after signing a new five-year contract.

The win secures United’s return to the Champions League, while Liverpool still need points to qualify.

In other matches, AFC Bournemouth beat Crystal Palace 3-nil, while Tottenham Hotspur will face Aston Villa at 7am.

Meanwhile, Arsenal leads the table with 76 points, Manchester City is second with 70 points, while Manchester United is third with 64 points.
