The two men charged in relation to the alleged rape and murder of an 18-year-old woman in December 2025 have been further remanded by the Lautoka High Court.
Tevita Tora and Laveni Vuebeti are each charged with one count of rape and one count of murder.
It is alleged that on 4th December 2025, the two men raped and murdered the woman.
The victim was found lying motionless in a park in Lautoka.
Tora and Vuebeti applied for bail. However, the defence has sought time to file a supplementary affidavit.
The matter will be called again on 3rd September for Information and Disclosures.
