Taveuni Buses Limited to resume services this afternoon, thanks residents for helping students
Taveuni Buses Limited will resume its school bus services this afternoon, after reaching an understanding with the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission.

Speaking to fijivillage News, Managing Director Sami Prakash apologised to students, parents and schools for the disruption caused over the past two days.

Prakash also thanked the residents and businesses who stepped in to drop students, while school bus services were suspended.

He says members of the community, including business owners and residents who volunteered their vehicles, played an important role in ensuring many students, particularly those sitting exams, were able to get to and from school during the disruption.

Prakash says the company appreciates the support shown by the community and thanked everyone who assisted while services were suspended.

He assured parents and schools that Taveuni Buses will continue providing safe and reliable transport for students across the island.
