The teams went into half-time level at 0-0.
Canada also advanced despite the defeat, reaching the knockout stage for the first time in their history after finishing second in the group.
Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Qatar 3-1 in their final Group B match at the FIFA World Cup.
Brazil are currently taking on Scotland while Morocco is currently playing Haiti.
Czechia will play Mexico and South Africa meet South Korea at 1pm.
