South Africa are the champions of the HSBC SVNS Vancouver 7s after thumping Spain 38-12 in the final.

The Blitzboks dominated throughout the match, scoring six tries to Spain’s two.

Shilton van Wyk scored twice while Ryan Oosthuizen, Sebastiaan Jobb, Gino Cupido and Impi Visser also scored.

Jeremy Trevithick and Anton Legorburu Anso scored a try each for Spain.

Meanwhile, Australia will face New Zealand in the women's final at 1.08pm today.
