Recipients of Fiji’s Social Protection Programmes will receive an increased allowance as part of the Government’s Fuel Price Crisis Initiative for June today.
This has been confirmed by the Ministry for Women, Children and Social Protection.
They say the additional top-up support, introduced to help vulnerable individuals and families manage the impact of rising fuel prices and the cost of living, will continue for a limited three-month period from May to July 2026.
The Ministry adds that all eligible recipients are encouraged to check their accounts and make the necessary arrangements to access their allowance from the payment date.
