Setaita Takiveikata admitted to the High Court of Fiji

It is a proud moment for Setaita Takiveikata as she has been admitted to the Bar of the High Court of Fiji, marking the beginning of her journey in the legal profession.

Speaking to fijivillage News after her admission, Takiveikata described the occasion as an emotional and rewarding milestone.

She thanked God, her family, and both her former and current lecturers.

Takiveikata is encouraging young people to follow what they are passionate about.

She acknowledged her family’s support, especially her mother, who stood by her.

Takiveikata says her older brother and mother travelled from Savusavu and Tuvalu to be with her on the special day.

She adds that her mother, a teacher, inspired her passion for learning, while her father, a prison officer, helped her to become the person she is today.

Meanwhile, 19 students from different universities were admitted to the Bar today.
