Scotland qualify for FIFA World Cup after 28-year wait
Scotland have qualified for the FIFA World Cup for the first time since 1998, ending the disappointment of six unsuccessful qualifying campaigns.

Scotland are no strangers to major tournaments under head coach Steve Clarke, having previously qualified for Euro 2020 and Euro 2024 during his tenure.

They will now aim to reach the knockout stages of the World Cup for the very first time.

Clarke has named his 26-man squad for the tournament, which includes captain Andy Robertson, who spent 10 years with Liverpool.
