All schools will reopen tomorrow.
Schools were closed from last Monday, 6 April, due to Tropical Cyclone Vaianu.
Some schools were also used as evacuation centres during this period, such as Saint Andrew’s Primary School in Nadi.
Schools in the Central and Eastern Divisions partially reopened on Thursday as TC Vaianu moved away from the Fiji Group.
However, Western Division schools remained closed as some of them were used as evacuation centres.
Health teams are conducting disinfection of evacuation centres, with four out of seven schools in Ba cleared for operation.
