A Sawani, Nausori family whose home was robbed last night is pleading for assistance in finding the alleged robber.
Sundeep Prakash says authorities are looking into the incident and a suspect is being sought.
He says their family is safe, but they remain deeply concerned about the safety and security of their family and community.
Prakash says no one was injured during the incident, but clothes and food items were stolen.
He says the matter was reported to the Nausori Police Station last night.
Prakash says anyone who has relevant information or witnessed anything suspicious last night should report it to Police rather than approach or confront anyone themselves.
Police confirm they are following some leads, but no arrests have been made yet.
