Police officers from Samabula Police Station are currently under investigation for alleged corruption and abuse of office.
This has been confirmed by police, who say the investigation is in relation to management of people detained in custody.
Police are yet to determine the number of police officers involved and the nature of the alleged offence.
They also confirm that this is not in relation to social media claims of the attempted removal of $3 billion worth of cocaine found in Vatia from the exhibit room.
