As many students prepare to begin their first year at university, Rohan Singh is setting out to become the first nephrologist in his family.

Singh, who was also a Bhawanian student in 2025, says he is excited to start university and follow the career path he has chosen.

He told fijivillage News that his parents have always supported his dreams and continue to stand by him as he embarks on this new journey.

Rohan says his initial inspiration came from his uncle, who is a nurse, but over time, his growing interest in understanding human organs led him to pursue a career in nephrology.

He adds that while everyone faces different challenges, it’s determination that keeps a person focused on their goals despite the obstacles.

His advice to other students is to avoid negative peer pressure and remember that nothing is impossible.
