With the flash flood and heavy rain warnings in force for the whole of Fiji, roads in the Central, Western and Northern divisions are closed.

Waiwatu Crossing on Navulokani Road (Naitasiri), Banikea Crossing on Korokadi Road (Bua), Naqumu Crossing and Drekeniwai Road (Macuata), Culvert Crossing at Daku Frontage and Levuka Road (Savusavu), Wailevu West Coast Road (Cakaudrove), Cemetery Crossing and Veisaru Road (Ba), Lomawai Road (Nadi), Vakabuli 2nd Crossing (Lautoka) and Emuri Crossing on Emuri Village Road (Nadroga) are all flooded and currently closed.

The Fiji Roads Authority says some crossings which include Vunivere Crossing on Lalakoro Road (Northern Division), Lubulubu 1st Crossing on Lubulubu Road, Vunisamaloa Flat and Vakabuli Flats (Western Division) are restricted to 4x4 vehicles only.

An active trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain continues to affect the group.

With the warnings in place, expect flooding of drainage systems, small streams, low water bridges, Irish crossings, roads and properties in low lying areas.
