RFMF warns public of military exercise near Vuda Marina and Serenity Island tomorrow
The Republic of Fiji Military Forces will be conducting a training exercise will be conducted in the vicinity of Vuda Marina and Serenity Island tomorrow which will involve the frequent movement of vessels, military, naval personnel and water police, as well as the use of blank ammunition, pyrotechnics and heavy explosive sound for battle noise simulation.

RFMF says people travelling through these areas should not to be alarmed by frequent vessel and military movements or simulated sounds associated with the exercise.

They are also urging public to exercise caution during the exercise.

RFMF says they have has undertaken the necessary planning and safety measures to minimise risks to the public and ensure that the exercise is conducted safely and professionally.
