This was shared with fijivillage News by the Chief Executive Officer, Frank Hilton Sureni Perera as the teams took part in the captains run this morning.
Perera says preparations are progressing well ahead of the tournament.
Perera says teams held a brief captain's run today while organisers finalised programmes and other logistical arrangements for next week's event.
She says she is looking forward to a successful tournament and is encouraging members of the public to come out and support the Bara Battle.
The Bara Battle will be held at Albert Park on Saturday.
The organisation aims to raise funds for the Hilton Home, which requires $300,000 annually to operate, including wages for qualified caregivers providing 24/7 care, equipment, food, therapy, and other expenses associated with running a residential care facility.
