Meanwhile two men from Qauia in Lami, 42-year-old Keni Salawai and 20-year-old Jope Seniloli who have been charged with the alleged murder of 24-year-old Police Constable Peniasi Racagi in Lami, remain in custody.

Their case will be called again on Friday in the Suva High Court.

The two with another individual are alleged to have between the 21st and 22nd of February 2026, aided and abetted to cause injuries to the late Police Constable Racagi, causing his death.

Racagi's body was found in the sea near the Lami Oceania Wesley Church on Sunday February 22nd.
