Powerful Flying Fijians extended squad named, including former England number 8

Acting Fiji Water Flying Fijians Head Coach, Senirusi Seruvakula, has named a powerful extended squad to prepare for the upcoming Nations Championship, with Levani Botia, Peceli Yato, and former England No. 8 Nathan Hughes among the key inclusions.

The props feature Eroni Mawi, Peni Ravai, Livai Natave, Haereiti Hetet, Luke Tagi, Tim Hoyt, Vilikesa Nairau, and Mesake Doge.

The hookers selected are Tevita Ikanivere, Kavaia Tagivetaua, Zuriel Togiatama, and Sam Matavesi.

In the locking department are Isoa Nasilsila, Mesake Vocevoce, Albert Tuisue, Temo Mayanavanua, Tevita Ratuva, and Joseva Tamani.

The loose forwards include Lekima Tagitagivalu, Etonia Waqa, Isoa Tuwai, Elia Canakaivata, Levani Botia, and Kitione Salawa, along with former England international Nathan Hughes, Peceli Yato, and Pita Gus Sowakula.

At scrum-half, the squad includes Frank Lomani, Simione Kuruvoli, Sam Wye, and Philip Baselala.

The fly-half options are Caleb Muntz, Kemu Valetini, and Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula.

The outside backs named are Jiuta Wainiqolo, Vinaya Habosi, Selestino Ravutaumada, Kalaveti Ravouvou, and Manasa Mataele.

In the midfield, Seruvakula has selected Josua Tuisova, Filimoni Botitu, Isikeli Rabitu, Virimi Vakatawa, Iosefo Masi, Semi Radradra, Seta Tamanivalu, and Sireli Maqala.

Salesi Rayasi and Vuate Karawalevu have been named as fullbacks.

Fiji will face Wales at Cardiff City Stadium on July 4th during their first match of the Championship.
