Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu
Police Commissioner, Rusiate Tudravu says the post mortem examination of the Police officer found in Lami yesterday was conducted today, with the findings to be submitted to the investigating team.

Tudravu says the investigation process must be respected in light of the speculation circulating on the circumstances surrounding the officer’s death.

The Commissioner says we all want answers, and they have an investigation team headed by the Divisional Crime Officer Southern working around the clock, piecing together the circumstances leading up to the officer’s death.

He stresses that speculation and false information will not help.

Tudravu adds there are claims that a second officer is missing which is not true as the officer was on a day off and reported in for duty on Sunday night, which was known to his superiors.

The Commissioner of Police urges members of the public to trust the process and allow the investigation team to do their work.
