The investigation into the death of a 28 year old Australian flight attendant with links to Fiji, Lucinta Evans has been completed by Police and the file is with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Evans was standing on the roadside when she was hit by a taxi in Martintar at about 5am on March 28th.
Police say the taxi collided with another vehicle before veering off the road and striking Evans.
While responding to social media claims on Evans being targeted, Police say that there were no claims or links made during the course of the investigation.
They say one of the cars allegedly hit the other causing the accident where one vehicle veered off the road and unfortunately hit the victim.
Police are now awaiting the decision of the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
