PM says full restoration for Kamikamica after his acquittal

PM says full restoration for Kamikamica after his acquittal
Former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister for Trade, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, and Communications, Manoa Kamikamica will get his positions fully restored.

Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka has confirmed this to fijivillage News after Kamikamica was acquitted of the charge of perjury which was laid by FICAC last year.

Kamikamica says he is focused to serve in government and to contest the next general elections.

Magistrate Charles Ratakele ruled in favour of Kamikamica after his no case to answer application against FICAC.

Kamikamica was charged with perjury and giving false information to a public servant.

FICAC's second witness in the trial, Government MP, Kalaveti Ravu had earlier refused to reveal who questioned him about his case.

Ravu declined to disclose who had spoken to him about the case, saying the individuals were his colleagues in the current government.

FICAC had called two witnesses - Janet Mason, the counsel who assisted the COI as well as Kalaveti Ravu.
