Plans are underway to take Defence Minister Pio Tikoduadua’s daughter to Australia for an operation following injuries she sustained while on duty.
Tikoduadua confirmed this to fijivillage News outside Parliament today that his daughter is recovering well and arrangements are being made for her to undergo surgery soon.
He says she is otherwise doing well.
His daughter was injured in the line of duty while manning a checkpoint in Laqere during a highway chase involving police and suspected drug traffickers.
