The Ministry of Immigration is not facing any issues pertaining to the printing of passports, and the machines are all working well at the moment.
This was highlighted by the Minister for Immigration, Viliame Naupoto, to fijivillage News outside Parliament due to recent feedback on some people going to the Immigration Department to pick up their passports but being told that they have to come back later as the printer was not working.
Naupoto says he has not received any reports or complaints from his staff regarding the printers and passport backlogs.
He has reassured the public that the printers are working well and all is well at the moment.Â
