Panthers dominate Knights 44-12, Edwards scores hat-trick

The Penrith Panthers continued their winning form in the NRL as they thumped the Newcastle Knights 44-12.

The Panthers scored eight tries to two with fullback Dylan Edwards scoring a hat-trick.

27-year-old Brian To'o also got on the scoreboard with two tries while Nathan Cleary, Freddy Lussick and Izack Tago scored a try each.

Cleary converted six of the eight tries.

Phoenix Crossland and Dylan Brown scored a try each for the Knights.

In another match, the Sea Eagles thumped the Eels 33-18.

Looking at this week's matches, the Bulldogs will face the Cowboys at 8pm Friday, and the Dolphins will meet the Storm at 10pm.

The Titans will take on the Raiders at 5pm Saturday, the Eels will host the Warriors at 7.30pm, and the Roosters will play the Broncos at 9.35pm.

The Knights will face the Rabbitohs at 4pm Sunday, the Sharks will meet the Wests Tigers at 6.05pm, and the Panthers will take on the Sea Eagles at 8.15pm.
