More than 1,000 young Fijians are expected to gather today for Fiji’s first “Walk With Me” Christian Youth Concert.
The free event will be held from 6pm at the FMF Gymnasium in Laucala Bay, Suva, and is open to young people aged 12 to 35, regardless of their faith or community.

The concert will feature local youth and young adults performing gospel and worship music, along with inspirational messages focused on faith, friendship, service and making positive choices.
The event is hosted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with organisers of the church saying they hope the concert will encourage young people to build meaningful connections and contribute positively to Fiji.
They say the event will provide a safe and alcohol-free environment where young people can enjoy music, build friendships and strengthen their relationship with God.
They add that local performers Jale Vota and Tevita Sovau will also perform their duet “Stand Strong”, a song encouraging young people to remain firm in their faith while facing everyday challenges and temptations.
The theme “Walk with Me” is inspired by Matthew 11:28–30, which speaks about finding rest and strength through Jesus Christ.
Admission is free.
