An open manhole on Kings Road, just before the turn into Ratu Dovi Road, is posing a significant risk to drivers and other road users.
Road users say the manhole has been left open for more than two weeks.
They say it is also causing traffic congestion during peak hours.
While responding to questions from fijivillage News, the Fiji Roads Authority says it has alerted its teams to the issue.
FRA says it has also notified the Water Authority of Fiji and is in discussions to address the recurring problem.
Questions sent to WAF remain unanswered.
