Former FijiFirst members Faiyaz Koya, Adi Selai Adimaitoga, Sanjay Salend Kirpal and former FijiFirst Vice President Ravindran Kumaran have successfully registered as a political party after receiving approval from the Registar of Political Parties.

Supervisor of Elections Ana Mataiciwa says One Nation has met all legal requirements for registration under the Political Parties (Registration, Conduct, Funding and Disclosures) Act 2013.

Mataiciwa says the party resubmitted its application on 21st May this year after its initial application was not approved.

She says, as a registered political party, One Nation is required to comply with all statutory obligations under the Act, including submitting the required declarations and disclosures within the prescribed timeframes.

The registration of One Nation brings the total number of registered political parties in Fiji to 10.
