One more day of Fiji Showcase 2026 before the curtains close

The final weekend of the entertainment at Fiji Showcase 2026 got off to a lively start tonight, with hundreds of people enjoying a diverse line-up of cultural performances, music and family-friendly entertainment.


The evening opened with an electrifying performance by the USP Dance Group, followed by a vibrant cultural showcase from the Rotuma Cultural Performance group, celebrating Fiji's rich cultural heritage.


Australian duo AussieBela then thrilled the audience with their breathtaking acrobatic performances. 


The crowd responded with plenty of "oohs" and "aahs" as Brazilian juggler PIVA showcased his remarkable talent and precision, captivating people of all ages with his incredible skills.


Music lovers were also kept entertained throughout the evening as DJ Drishant delivered seamless transitions and an energetic mix that kept the atmosphere alive.


Solomon Islands artist Yang Soulja drew a strong crowd with a heartfelt tribute to the late George Fiji Veikoso, performing the beloved classic Lonely Days alongside several of his original songs.


Bringing the night to a memorable close was Mr Sam, who had the audience singing along to his cover of Inner Circle's Sweat (A La La La La Long) before finishing with a selection of his original music.


The entertainment continues tomorrow, the final day of Fiji Showcase 2026, with another packed programme.


Malumu Ni Tobu kei Naivakura will perform from 12pm to 1pm, followed by Back to Front Boys from 1pm to 2pm. 


AussieBela will return to the stage from 2pm to 2.30pm before Vude Queen Laisa Vulakoro performs from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.


ManaVa Dance Group will entertain the crowd from 5pm to 5.30pm, followed by Sweet Sensation, whose smooth vocals and energetic band performance will take centrestage from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.


The final performance will feature Liz Vamarasi and Kali Tui from VT1s from 7pm to 8pm, before the gates close at 9pm.


Tomorrow also marks the final opportunity for visitors to experience Fiji Showcase 2026, enjoy the fun rides, sample the wide variety of food on offer and the bargains at more than 100 booths.


Gates at the Vodafone Arena open at 10am.
