A new Westpac New South Wales Blues Adidas kit will be unveiled at Albert Park in Suva tomorrow as part of efforts to strengthen youth development, community engagement, and support the growth of rugby league in Fiji and the Pacific.
This was highlighted by Kaiviti Silktails CEO Stephen Driscoll to fijivillage News.
Driscoll says under the sponsorship programme, Westpac Fiji has been named the official banking partner of the Kaiviti Silktails.
He says Westpac will play an active role in supporting rugby league initiatives, youth outreach programmes, and financial literacy efforts across Fiji.
Chairman of the Silktails team, Petero Civoniceva, says the investment is a major boost not only for rugby league but also for the future of Fiji’s youth.
Civoniceva says the partnership will create opportunities, promote life skills, and help build stronger community connections through sport.
Westpac Fiji Executive Shane Smith says sports play a vital role in bringing people together in Fiji.
Smith says they are pleased to be part of a partnership that invests in communities and helps develop players for the future.
The launching and press conference will be held at Albert Part tomorrow at 11am.
