Nausori-bound lanes on Rewa Bridge to be close overnight for works

Nausori-bound lanes on Rewa Bridge to be close overnight for works

All members of the public are advised that the final layer of asphalting works on the Rewa Bridge Nausori-bound lane is scheduled from 8pm today to 5am tomorrow.

The Fiji Roads Authority stresses that during this period, the two Nausori-bound lanes will be closed from the Lelean Roundabout to the Wainibokasi Roundabout to allow for the safe movement and operation of machinery, while the Suva-bound lanes will remain open to facilitate traffic flow.

The FRA emphasises that motorists are strictly advised to adhere to the posted signage and follow instructions from traffic controllers to ensure the safety of all road users and workmen.

They add that these works were previously delayed due to unfavourable weather conditions during the initial works carried out in November 2025.

They also advise that in the case of adverse weather, the works may be postponed and rescheduled.
