A 32-year-old man has unfortunately lost his life following an accident in Wailekutu on New Year's Eve.
Police say the man was heading towards Suva on his motorcycle, when a vehicle driven by a 36 year old man allegedly made a sudden U-turn, resulting in the accident.
They say the incident occurred after 10pm and the man was rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital where his death was confirmed by medical officials.
Police say the suspect will be questioned soon as investigations continue.
