Canada's first FIFA World Cup campaign as a tournament co-host has come to an end after a 3-0 defeat to Morocco in Houston.
After a goalless first half, Azzedine Ounahi gave Morocco the lead five minutes into the second half.
Ounahi scored his second with eight minutes remaining before Soufiane Rahimi added a third in stoppage time to seal Morocco's place in the quarter-finals.
Morocco have advanced to the last 16 where they will face the winner of the Round of 32 clash between France and Paraguay.
The Atlas Lions are making their seventh FIFA World Cup appearance, having first competed at the tournament in 1970.
Their greatest World Cup run came in 2022, when they became the first African team to reach the semi-finals.
Morocco eventually finished fourth at the 2022 FIFA World Cup after historic knockout-stage victories over Spain and Portugal.
Meanwhile, France and Paraguay will play at 9am.
