More women-led enterprises are expected to benefit after TISA Insurance Fiji Limited formely known as Capital Insurance signed a Letter of Understanding with the Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation.

Speaking at the signing, TISA Insurance Chief Executive Officer David Ariff Chan stresses that this year’s theme, Give to Gain: Investing in Women to Transform Our Future, highlights an issue that is deeply important for Fiji socially, economically and nationally.

Chan says investing in women-led enterprises is not only the right thing to do but is also essential for the country’s long-term growth.

He says that insurance provides real protection and peace of mind, and is much more than just a financial product stressing women entrepreneurs and leaders deserve financial systems that support their confidence and ambitions.

FCEF Chief Executive Officer Edward Bernard highlights that the WIIN Convention, now in its fifth year, continues to serve as a flagship platform for advancing women’s economic empowerment.

Meanwhile, Women Entrepreneurs in Business Convention Chair Jyoti Maharaj says the WIN Convention has become a strong national platform that connects aspiration with opportunity and ideas with action.

Maharaj expresses her gratitude at being part of the journey to empower women in business, stressing that systems and processes must understand the realities faced by women entrepreneurs and protect what they are building.
