More than 8,500 Year 13 students will put their knowledge to the test when the 2026 Fiji Year 13 Certificate Examination begins tomorrow.
Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro has wished all students the best as they prepare for the examinations, which will run from tomorrow to next Friday.
A total of 8,562 students are registered to sit the examination at 174 centres across the country, with the English paper scheduled for tomorrow.
Radrodro says students have worked hard throughout the year and should believe in themselves, remain focused and give their best during the examinations.
He has reminded students that while examinations are an important part of their education, their results do not define who they are or determine their entire future.
The Minister is also encouraging students to manage their time well, remain confident and not give up when faced with difficult questions.
He says students have several options after Year 13, including university, technical and vocational education, employment, entrepreneurship and other career pathways.
Radrodro has also acknowledged the hard work and support of teachers, school leaders, parents and guardians in preparing students for this important stage of their education.
He is encouraging students to trust in the work they have done, approach each examination with confidence and make the most of the opportunities available to them.
