More than 700 students will be jumping into the pool for this weekend's National Schools Swimming Championships.

National Primary and Secondary Schools Swimming Association President, Salaseini Lele says swimmers from over 54 schools are taking part this year.

Marist Brothers High School are the defending champions in the boys' division while Drasa Avenue School currently hold the girls' title.
