Ministry investigates white substance discharged into Nabukalou Creek

The Ministry of Environment is investigating the white substance discharged into Nabukalou Creek, in Suva where test samples have already been collected.

Permanent Secretary for the Environment Dr. Sivendra Michael, confirmed to fijivillage News today that they are awaiting the test results and will take further action once the findings are known.

The investigation follows a report from a concerned citizen, who shared photos with fijivillage News showing the disposal of an unidentified white substance into the creek over two consecutive days.
