The Fijian Drua today announced McDonald’s Fiji as the naming rights sponsor of the Drua Women’s Team.

This means the team will now be referred to as the McDonald’s Fijian Drua Women.

The announcement was jointly made by the Drua and McDonald’s Fiji management at the Drua Home Base in Nadi, where they also unveiled the side’s new kit for the 2026 Super Rugby Women’s season.

McDonald’s Fiji replaces the previous naming rights sponsor, Rooster Chicken, who remain part of the Club’s sponsorship vuvale.

Fijian Drua CEO Jeff Miller says this is one of the most important announcements for the Fijian Drua Women’s team, and to have the world’s most iconic restaurant brand as their Naming Rights Sponsors speaks loudly of the popularity and appeal of the Fijian Drua Women.

Miller says they thank the McDonald’s Fiji team for extending their sponsorship of the Fijian Drua, which was already quite substantive, to now taking over the naming rights of the Women’s team.

The CEO says in addition to its on-field involvement, the partnership extends into community work through Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Fiji, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening families, empowering youth, and supporting communities across the country.
McDonald’s Fiji Managing Director Marc McElrath says this is a partnership he is truly excited about.

He says seeing the Fijian Drua Women grow and represent Fiji with pride is inspiring, and it means a lot for them at McDonald’s Fiji to be part of their journey.

McDonald’s Fiji Operations Manager, Nazlan Jaleel says it is about more than sponsorship, it is about supporting a team that brings people together and inspires young women across the country.

Drua CEO Jeff Miller says the newly unveiled 2026 jersey represents the continued growth of the Drua brand, combining fresh modern elements with the iconic colours closely associated with the Club.

Miller says the design reflects the journey and momentum of the Drua movement both on and off the field.

He says the Drua sail motif and stylised Drua icon feature prominently throughout the jersey design, alongside key partners PacificAus Sports, Chery, ANZ, Swire Shipping, New Balance and Vodafone Play.

The Drua icon is also incorporated into the jersey numbers, with subtle sail patterns embedded into the sublimated background design.

An expanded range of on and off-field wear featuring the key partners will also be worn by the players, staff, and management throughout the season.
