Marist 7s Mens pool games deliver strong results

The pool matches at the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s delivered an exciting start to the Men's Competition, with several teams making strong early statements.

Vuna Brothers edged out Island Brothers 10–7 in one of the tighter contests of the round, while Bula Brothers dominated McDonald's Westfield Babas 15–0.

There were also emphatic wins across the pools, with Loloma Heights thrashing Gau Kacau 26–0, while Kasabias Village Boys proved too strong for Newborn Waitabu in a 31–0 victory.

Wardens Gold also kept their opponents scoreless, defeating Pegasus Brothers 17–0.

One of the more competitive fixtures saw Police White come from behind to beat Fresh'et Navy 10–7 in a closely fought encounter.

Kaite Rugby secured a solid 19–7 win over Bula Ballers Tamaya, while Yaro Chiefs edged Wai Tui Tribal 12–10 in another nail-biter.

Wailevu Rugby also defeated Golden Eagle ANCF Waidina 15–5 to round out the pool games.

The finals of the Marist 7s will be held tomorrow at the HFC Bank Stadium.
