Manchester City has won the FA Cup final after defeating Chelsea 1-0 with a late goal proving enough to seal the title and add to their success this season.
The two teams went into the break locked at 0-0 after a first half that lacked clear chances and excitement.
The match continued to remain quiet for much of the second half as both sides struggled to create scoring opportunities.
However, with 18 minutes remaining, City finally found the breakthrough through a brilliant piece of play that changed the game.
The goal was enough to hand City the victory and end their run of recent final defeats.
For Chelsea, the loss was another disappointment as they suffered a fourth straight FA Cup final defeat and missed out on silverware this season.
